  5. The hardest thing about older cars is knowing what all needs to be done, and more the time to do repairs, to get a good cost estimate before approving work. My initial repair was high; however Keith, Klink, and everyone we talked to were pleasant, professional, and focused on our needs. I wish there was a way of knowing how much labor would be required for the repairs in advance, but I both understand and accept the explanations we were given. – How can we better meet your needs?

    I'm thankful for the patience and understanding of Keith Hollis. He takes the time and effort to explain everything to us. We are not mechanically inclined; and we've got our fingers crossed this MGB will be a fun car for Mary to drive, and not something that takes a lot of tinkering and money.   8. When rotating the tires, please check the pressure after. You moved a 42 PSI back tire to 38 PSI front tire. This caused all sort of confusion on my pressure sensor thinking my tires we all flat. – How can we better meet your needs?

  19. I very much liked dealing with Keith Hollis. When dropping my vehicle off, I detailed all resent purchases and replacement parts; however I spent a considerable amount of funds only to have parts replaced that were new and the problem unresolved. Upon returning and spending more money the problem was identified. The resulting estimate was high , and there was no mention of recompense for my previous expenditures. – Please leave any final comments about your visit here.

  21. My Land Rover was scanned by two other shops but they could not identify the problem. Motorcars identified the suspension problem shortly after test drive and scanner results.       Obviously there is a problem and as one of our long-term customers, you know that we will sort this sort of thing out. It is inconvenient and we apologize.

      It is my understanding that you have made arrangements to bring the car back in for a review and another look... i actually believe it is for today or tomorrow.

      We all recognize that this is not the desired outcome.... that a check engine light comes back on after a repair.... but it does happen... and when it does, we address the problem once again.

      We do not "shotgun" repairs by throwing everything new into a system.... we try to identify the specific issue with a car and repair or replace that one issue. Your car's on board computer indicated that one of your two oxygen sensors was causing the check engine light to come on and we replaced only that one sensor while you waited. We did not have the opportunity to run the "drive cycle" following repairs - at least 25 miles - to verify the repair as you were anxious to get back on the road.

      We look forward to seeing you.

      Please bring your car back to us and we will completely detail the car.

      We did a LOT of work on your interior because of the water damage, and for all of that work, we should have been far more attentive to what we were leaving behind.
